I have a friend too who is very different from me. She parties a lot and is in demand with the guys. She hates to study and shies away from work. She’ll rather have a man take care of all her needs.

But she’s real. She is not fake and she is very loyal. She’s a what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of person. In most of my trying times she has stood by me more than my other seemingly good friends who would turn their faces away and carry on with their perfect life.

People ask me how we are still friends. I tell them we understand each other. We don’t see other much though because of school.
